Like an oom-pah brass band tune, but it's a waltz, so it's oom-pah-pah. Melody, bass "oom" part, and backing "pah-pah" parts are shown on all the charts. Also chord symbols.

This version should be uptempo, appropriate for a Biergarten or a Harvard Square Oktoberfest; not like the original, which is a slow ballad with guitar.

The last four bars can be used as an intro.

Not really an Austrian song; it's from the Broadway musical "The Sound of Music." The fictionalized Captain von Trapp sings it to symbolize his defiance of the Third Reich.
